The Italian company Zago Agricola produces a limited editon of panettone (a typical sweet bread) every year around Christmas time. I was asked to design a special edition packaging for the 2019 rollout: the brief required a whimsical holiday design that could maintain a premium feeling, while not directly referring to Christmas.

The final design illustrates fauna of an Italian winter forest. The heavy use of bright red, requested by the client to complement this packaging with other products of the same line, is balanced by white and gold metallic touches that give the box a premium look and feel.
